Assistant Coach: Neil Ketner

 

 

Neil Ketner was the co-head coach of one of the 2013-14 Flames 14U teams.  Prior to that, he was a Flames assistant coach for 4 years for 10U, 12U and 14U teams.  Neil also coached for Murphey Candler Girls Softball for 4 years.  Neil played baseball and football in Charlotte, NC.  After attending UNC, he played adult slow pitch softball for a number of years.  Neil is the owner of Ketner Contracting LLC.

 

Assistant Coach: Dan Perez

 

Dan Perez has been involved in youth athletics for 25 years at the Marist School and Murphey Candler Park.  

As a player and coach at Marist, he has been a part of 6 State Baseball Championships.  In 1996, he was voted Assistant Baseball Coach-of-the-Year in Georgia.  In 2002, the Atlanta Braves 400 Club selected Dan as Head Baseball Coach-of-the-Year in Georgia.  Dan was a co-head coach of the one of the 2013-14 Flames 14U teams. During his 8 years of coaching softball for Murphey Candler, Dan’s teams won 5 league titles.
